In 1989, Back to the Future Part II attempted to predict 2015 and all its advances in technology.
Our goal for this project is to critique their predictions and their portrayal of today's modern technology.
Although the time has passed for the 2015 prediction, we will look deeper and compare what the movie
predicted and what has happened now. Many of the technologies that we use are well-predicted, while
some, not so much. Our main focus will be on Smart Tv's, Flying cars, and Self-Lacing Shoes.
For our projects, Miranda will be talking about Smart Tv's, Nate will be talking about self
lacing shoes, and Mason will be talking about Flying Cars. Each of us will create a video about the
topic. We will explain in detail how this item is portrayed in the movie and how it compares to now.
We will then see how this item is used in the movie, whether or not it is as widespread as the movie
says, and what companies have made this. We will also look deeper into how expensive it is to buy.
